West Jakarta Mayor, Yani Wahyu Purwoko says interaction and social awareness among residents interaction should be further improved.

According to him, no less important is the role of the RT/RW administrators to carry out continuous socialization and monitoring of its residents. Thus, if there is a problem that cannot be resolved, the government can immediately intervene through the urban village head or sub-district head.
"They (RT/RW) have a strategic and vital role in helping its residents and the government. For instance, if there are residents in the housing who refuse Jumantik (wiggler hunter)'s arrival, they can immediately be reported to the urban village head," he continued.
if residents are experiencing economic difficulties or meeting their food needs, education about health services, the RT/RW administrators can also provide recommendations for their residents to be assisted.
"From this report, we can act quickly to assist with permanent programs such as Social Assistance, family hope program (PKH), Jakarta Elderly Cards, BPJS, and Jakarta Smart Cards. Assistance can also be provided through other sources," he added.
